Two-factor authentication adds an extra layer of security to your account
by requiring a code from your phone in addition to your password.
Why Use 2FA?
Even if someone learns your password, they won't be able to access your
account without also having your phone. This significantly reduces the
risk of unauthorized access.
Setting Up 2FA
Install an authenticator app on your phone (see supported apps below)
Go to your Account Settings
Click Enable Two-Factor Authentication
Scan the QR code with your authenticator app
Enter the 6-digit code shown in your app to verify
Save your recovery codes in a safe place
Important: Save your recovery codes!
If you lose access to your authenticator app, you'll need these codes
to regain access to your account.
Supported Authenticator Apps
You can use any TOTP-compatible authenticator app, including:
Google Authenticator - Available for iOS and Android
Microsoft Authenticator - Available for iOS and Android
Authy - Available for iOS, Android, and desktop
1Password - Built-in authenticator feature
Using 2FA to Log In
Enter your email and password as usual
Open your authenticator app
Enter the 6-digit code shown for this site
Click Verify
Tip: Codes change every 30 seconds. If your code isn't
working, wait for the next one and try again.
Disabling 2FA
Go to your Account Settings
Click Disable Two-Factor Authentication
Enter your password to confirm
Lost Access to Authenticator?
If you've lost access to your authenticator app:
On the 2FA verification screen, click Use a recovery code
Enter one of your saved recovery codes
Once logged in, go to settings to set up a new authenticator
If you don't have recovery codes, contact your system administrator
for assistance.
